Its Friday and I'm thrilled its the end of my week. Not particularly looking forward to turning the big 4-0 on Sunday though. It's been a very emotional week. I'm getting drunk tonight!!!

It's a bleary Tuesday at work. I'm tired and wish I was at home. The holiday season, although fun, always seems to drain me.

A lot has happened since the last time I worked on this blog.....2 years ago. I have a new job, am newly married and soon to be a home owner. Let's try this one more time. If I can start posting from my Blackberry perhaps I'll keep my butt in line. :-)

I am sooooo lazy. I never remember to come here and update this blog. Please head on over to www.tivofanatic.net I have a BIT of a chance of remembering that one more often :-)

Another week down the toilet...I am so ready to be a butterfly but so trapped in this caterpillar body. Slow, weak, lumpy. I am trying to remain positive but the immediate future looks bleak. No emerging as a butterfly until NEXT Spring it seems.

I think I'm completely in love.....with this band. Please check out their website (and hopefully buy their album) SavingJane I have loved every song I've listened to. No fake Barbie types need apply there.

Still recovering after a VERY long week. Last week I was on call for work as well as had quite a full schedule. Friday night we had dinner with friends, thanks to Gina & Walt. Yummy pesto covered salmon. Mmmmmmm. Saturday and Sunday were Balticon. Here are the highlights as *I* see them.

Saturday....collaboration talk, everyone was jumping in, adding their 2 cents and being witty. Lisa Snellings Clark's talk. I looooooved the dancing rat bit. She is as wonderful to listen to as she is talented. The fact that I snagged one of my personal favs of her sculptures. Wish I had a pic...but I'm at work so oh well.

Sunday...managing to get a copy of Good Omens AND managed to get in line for Neil Gaiman to sign it. He did an incredible self portrait and autograph on one person's leather jacket. having dinner with good friends. It was fanastic to finally meet Alchemy. The Lorraine a'Malena concert, they were simply fanastic, even with Malena being under the weather. Our 'supermarket sweep' trip to Wegmans. The Goddess party was a raging hit from what I saw. The wonderful lady in her newly won corset was just too cute.

Monday...a family trip to Kohl's. Yeah I know lame...but my mom loved it. Then family cookout.

Tuesday...back to work but finally off being on call. YAY!!!!
